What We Do
We Can Work Around Your Schedule
Your premier destination for neurological care.
From headaches and back pain to tremors and memory concerns, we expertly assess your symptoms and tackle your complex neurological issues.
Let us help you solve your neurological puzzle and find the right path to wellness.
Areas of Excellence
Women’s neurology
As women neurologists, we’re especially attuned to the unique neurological issues of our women patients. Women are more prone to migraine, can have menopause related memory complaints, and may experience neurological problems in pregnancy such as carpal tunnel syndrome, pinched nerves, and headache.
Geriatric neurology
Our older patients frequently experience neurological challenges such as memory loss, tremors, balance trouble, insomnia and depression. We approach these complaints with respect and patience. We address long- term care options including the option to age in place and sensitively explain advanced directives (living will and health care proxy).
LGBTQ+ neurology
We recognize that lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and non-binary people may feel unwelcome in some healthcare settings. In our LGBTQ+ friendly neurology practice, you can see us here, judgment free.
Occupational neurology
Busy New Yorkers spend countless hours in front of screens and keyboards causing carpal tunnel syndrome, neck pain, back pain, and headaches. We’ll help treat these conditions and give you constructive advice on how to improve your work setup to keep you comfortable and productive. We can also guide you on how to address your neurological condition with your employer.
Mood disorders in neurology
Depression and anxiety can co-exist with neurological symptoms such as headache, tingling, pain, memory loss, and insomnia. We are skilled at recognizing when there may be a mood difficulty, exploring those symptoms with you, and treating these conditions.
Lifestyle factors contributing to neurological complaints
Diet, alcohol, limited exercise, workaholism, poor sleep, stress, social isolation, and trauma can play a role in neurological conditions including memory loss, pain, headaches, dementia and Parkinson’s disease. We will take the time to explore these lifestyle issues with you and identify practical ways to address these factors.
Neuromuscular disease
We are both sub-specialty trained in electrophysiology and each have two decades of experience treating myasthenia gravis, myopathies, and peripheral neuropathies. Often these conditions require immunosuppression and IV treatments. Our superb office staff makes prior authorization and scheduling IV therapies hassle-free.

Family History of Neurological disease
When a close relative experiences a chronic neurological condition such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS), Multiple Sclerosis, or Stroke, family members often worry about their risk of inheriting these conditions. We will perform a detailed history and neurological exam and sensitively discuss how diseases of your loved ones may relate to you.
