"My fascination with the brain began in my teenage years when I watched my grandmother struggle with memory loss. That experience gave me firsthand insight into how neurological conditions can leave both patients and their families feeling vulnerable. I believe that recognizing and addressing this emotional impact is essential to building a strong and trusting physician-patient relationship. Beyond diagnosing and treating, my goal is to connect with my patients on a personal level—truly listening to their concerns, providing clear and accurate medical information, and empowering them to take an active role in their care. By fostering open communication and trust, I strive to make each patient feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their journey."

Dr Zaharakis, along with the entire staff, is always so courteous and kind. Always. The first apt I had at the office I was in a lot of pain and was less than charismatic. Everyone was incredibly patient and kind with me. Dr Zaharakis always listens and answers my questions and I never feel rushed.
